Lafayette, LA (continued)

Dale here again. Just wanted to update you and what I've been doing the past few days.

Tuesday we went to a house with a fallen tree and grass that came up to my waist. That was a tough day, I never had to cut grass that tall but overall it was awesome. The lady who lived there was so thankful for all the help and that made my day.

Wednesday and today (Thursday) we went to a house that had a large tree branch fall on the roof so I got to do some roofing and also gutted the inside of the house. The inside walls and ceiling was all molded so my job was to clean it all out. There was so much damage it took us two days to finish up the work. But the lady who lived at this house was so thankful and again that made my day. She also cooked us some fried catfish which was delicious.

So I think tonight I'll be leaving Lafayette to go down to New Orleans. Our group will probably chill tonight but go out again tomorrow to do some more work... not sure what to expect but I'm sure it'll be fun :) I'll update one more time once the trip is over so until next time stay classy.
